Zoo: Zoo premiered last week with a paltry 0.5 behind a 1.6 from Big Brother. There's no way to get around that. That's freaking awful. Even if it didn't have the largest lead-in available to it during CBS Summer, that's a rough data point. It doesn't get much better for it in week two, where it rose a tenth but had a much larger lead-in of 1.9 from Big Brother. That's roughly the same (awful) retention it had in week one. Needless to say, Zoo starts as LIKELY TO BE CANCELED.

The Night Shift: The Night Shift has done poorly this season, but at least it's ticked up in the weeks following its awful 0.6. That doesn't really change much for me, as it still doesn't look good for a renewal. Those 0.7s, however, have likely saved the Night Shift from entering Certain Cancellation territory anytime soon. It continues to be a LIKELY CANCELLATION.

The Carmichael Show: Despite being pretty stable in its third season, and doing relatively well (especially compared to last season), NBC has CANCELED their longest-running sitcom.

Stay tuned next week for initial prediction for Summer newbies Salvation and Hooten & the Lady, and every Tuesday after that for my Summer predictions.
