TV Ratings Tuesday, October 4: UPDATED with Finals: NCIS, The Flash Adjusted Up


Finals: NCIS adjusted up a tenth to 1.9, now only tying its series low, and The Flash adjusted up a tenth to 1.3, tying its previous season finale rating. The table reflects the final ratings, while the analysis below remains unchanged.

Taking up most of primetime last night was the Vice Presidential debate. NBC's coverage came in first with a 1.9, followed by ABC with a 1.2, CBS with a 1.1, and FOX with a 0.7.

The CW, however, did not air the debate, and instead aired the season premiere of The Flash, which earned a 1.2, down from the season finale's 1.3, down from last season's premiere's 1.4, and only a tenth above its low, and the series premiere of No Tomorrow, which was down from the season premiere of iZombie, which scored a 0.7, scoring a 0.5.

At 8:00, unscripted performed somewhat poorly, with a recap The Voice earning a 2.0, down from last week's 3.3, and Dancing with the Stars earned a 1.4, up from last week's 1.3.

Finally, CBS aired NCIS and FOX aired comedies Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Girl. NCIS earned a 1.8, down from last week's 2.1, and hitting a series low. Brooklyn Nine-Nine scored a 1.0, flat with last week's 1.0, and New Girl scored a 1.0, also flat last week's 1.0.
