Some Analysis...
I hate to say this, but I honestly think that my incorrect cancelation prediction for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend this season from preseason all the way to its renewal should have taught me a lesson on how to predict new shows. However, why I am doing it again for next season may tell the story. Yes, I am predicting cancelation for Frequency. During pilot season, nobody expected Frequency to be picked up in addition to Riverdale and No Tomorrow. People are speculating that it will get the Messengers/Containment treatment next season. And with Supergirl's move to the CW, I think it's more likely that happens.

I put No Tomorrow (CBS) and Riverdale (WB) in the Watching column. It all depends on many factors. Will No Tomorrow finally fix Mondays if given the right promotion? Will No Tomorrow get another Golden Globe winner in either Tori Anderson or Joshua Sasse? Will Riverdale be a self starter, or will it get the highest rated lead in? If Riverdale gets the 8pm slot, will Supernatural move to another night? These are questions that I don't have the answers for as of yet. So far the only show I see as a predicted renewal is Supergirl. My guess is that the CW will try to get this into syndication.

The controversy for what happened with The 100 causes me to downgrade it to the Watching column. The question is, will it be four seasons and done, or will it get a fifth season to cross the 70 episode threshold? New rule: shows with at least 60 episodes after three or four seasons go no lower than Watching.

But as always, preseason predictions change. For the start of the season, I'm starting with a clean slate.
