(R): Rerun
(LY): The numbers are from last year's finale
Please note that last year's numbers are taken from the whole hour statistics, not the half-hours.

Last night was marked by the premiere of The CW's highly marketed superhero show DC's Legens of Tomorrow, a new member of the Arrow/Flash franchise. While it got a 1.2, making it the second highest-rated show of the network (behind The Flash), it's probably not the hit they were looking for. Plus, it's only its series premiere, so expect a fall starting with episode 2, even though CW shows are normally pretty stable. It's still a hit, don't get me wrong, and based on this performance only it's probably still getting renewed, but my guess is they were expecting a bigger hit than The Flash and it just isn't. It did help The 100 get higher though, almost doubling it's last season finale rating, going as high as a 0.8 in its last half-hour. That does put a shadow on iZombie though. With a better lead-in, the latter only gets a 0.5 most weeks, while it had a better performance than The 100 in its first season. But The 100, with a slightly weaker lead-in, managed to rise way higher. Something tells me that iZombie might actually be in its last season, to my highest regret.

Last night was also about the series finale of Heroes Reborn (it was officially cancelled by NBC last week, making it the first show to be officially cancelled by a network this year), but people didn't really seem to care. It got exactly the same rating than last week, which is a deceiving 1.0. I don't know what they expected rebooting a series that deceived people so much in its last three seasons (out of a 4-year run), but hey... It's NBC, nothing should surprise me anymore. They did do great after that, though, with The Blacklist losing a tenth, but nothing to alarming, and Shades of Blue actually gaining one, making it to a 1.4.

American Idol did good over at FOX, as always, pulling a 2.6 in its last half-hour, gaining two tenths overall. It really baffles me that the network decided to end this show considering its their second highest-rated show...

CBS had a good night too, leading the 8pm timeslot with a Big Bang Theory rerun. Everyone of their comedies was stable except for Angel from Hell that actually rose a tenth, getting a convincing 1.4. It's still the weak spot of their block, though, but rising is usually a good sign. Also, Life in Pieces being stable wihout even a proper TBBT lead-in is amazing for them, since it shows the series can actually live by itself to a certain point. Elementary was also stable at 10 with a 1.1.

The temporary line-up of ABC until TGIT returns is a disaster, with Beyond the Tank only getting a 1.0 (which is still higher than last week) and My Diet Is Better than Yours still getting awful fractionnal numbers (0.7 in their first hour and 0.6 in their last). But seriously, who thought this line-up could work? Airing reruns would have actually been more successful...
